Who we are

Chimney Listings is a directory of chimney companies, operated by TechSmart Media LLC. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Email address, if you subscribe. When you subscribe to updates we store the email address you give us and the page you signed up from.
• Form submissions. If you claim a listing, add a listing, contact a listed business through the site or request a removal, we store what you send so we can act on it.
• Server logs. Our servers keep standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. They are not used for marketing.

Cookies

We do not set analytics or advertising cookies. The site works without any cookie from us.

Email

We send only what you asked for: the updates you subscribed to, replies to the forms you send us. Every update email includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately. We run our own sending system and we never sell, rent or share our list.

Business listing information

The listings in this directory are compiled from publicly available sources, including business contact details such as phone numbers that the business publishes itself. We do not publish personal email addresses. If a listing is about your business, you can claim it from its page to correct it, or request its removal. Removal requests are handled by a person and answered within 10 days.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with the service providers that run the site (hosting, email delivery) and when the law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@techsmartmedia.com and we will take care of it.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes to how we handle email will also be announced to the list.
